How to replace a Fitbit Versa 3 Strap

Introduction

You may have come to the point where you have decided that you need to change your Fitbit Versa 3 / Fitbit Sense strap. Maybe it has worn down too much or has broken. But for a lot of people, it is desirable to make your Fitbit look unique. The easiest way to do that is to replace the strap. The good news is that it is not too difficult. Fitbit removed the pin levers that were used with the Versa, Versa 2, Versa Lite strap models. See below:

Instead, they have introduced a latch on the back of the watch case.

Method

Step 1

If you look at the back of your Fitbit Versa 3 watch, you will notice a latch on each side where the strap connects. Gently push this latch towards the strap and it will allow the strap to release. The original strap can then be removed.

Step 2

Make sure the new strap is lined up correctly (not upside down). It can simply be pressed into the cavity. You will hear a little click. Just give it a gentle pull to make sure it is secure. Repeat the process for the other side of the strap.

Conclusion

As we have seen, it is very easy to replace your Fitbit Sense Strap. It is a great way to give your Fitbit a different and stylish look. We have a nice range of replacement straps for Fitbit Versa 3 to customise your smart watch.
