How to replace a Fitbit Versa 2 Strap?
Introduction
There are different reasons why you might want to change your Fitbit Versa 2 Strap. Sometimes they can break or wear down, but other times it is simply to give your Fitbit a new look. Yes replacing your Fitbit Versa strap is the #1 way to customise your Fitbit and make it look unique.
In this guide, we will show you exactly how to do it. It applies to Fitbit Versa, Versa 2 & Versa Lite models. If you own a Fitbit Versa 3 / Fitbit Sense, check this guide out instead.
Method
For these models, Fitbit use a sliding pin lock to keep the strap attached to the smart watch. Thankfully the process is very easy and straightforward.
Step 1
Fitbit Versa straps are 2-piece bands which have a small pin at the end of each strap piece. You simply need to slide the pin back, which will allow it to release from the strap socket and you can gently remove it. Do this for both pieces of the strap.
Step 2
On your new strap, pull the pin back like you did in step 1 to shorten the strap connection and line it up into each end of the 2 strap sockets in the watch. Release the pin to allow it to lock into place. Just make sure both sides of the strap are firmly in place.
